A visit to Bob Marley’s hometown of Nine Miles will be a very special and spiritual experience for you if you know, love reggae music or appreciate the messages in his songs. Watch a short documentary about him at the bar while waiting on your tour guide. Enjoy a guided tour the house he was born in, the house he grew up in before leaving for the city of Kington but would occasionally return to meditate and write some of his songs. Tour the room filled with memorabilia to include plaques with his gold and platinum selling albums. Read articles written on him from around the world while touring.
Participate in the entertainment by the in-house band singing some of your favorite songs. Walk with your tour guide to Mt. Zion to visit his mausoleum. Sit with the guide as he reasons with you on the life, music, and family of Bob Marley, giving information you may not have known. Get answers to any questions you may have regarding Bob. You can shop for authentic merchandise in the gift shop after the tour.

Your driver will be at your hotel approximately 10-15 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. It is best to stand in the hotel lobby or on the outside of the lobby by the door. Your driver/guide will have information.
A morning pickup for a 2-hours driver along the beautiful North Coast Highway takes you high up into the mountains to the community of Nine Miles, to visit the birthplace and resting place of the legendary King of Reggae Bob Marley.
Arriving at Nine Miles, you will be checked in before going up stairs to the bar area to wait for a tour guide to introduce himself and begin your tour. The tour starts at the bar with information on Bob’s family history, before moving to the house he was born in, to the room with memorabilia, then stopping at the entertainment stand where a live band will be performing popular Bob Marley songs, after which you will walk up to Mt. Zion to visit his mausoleum and the house, he grew up in.
Your guide will then have a sit-down session where he will pass on information about Bob’s musical journey, his family, his children, his Rastafarian lifestyle, while answering any question you may have. The tour ends after coming down from Mt. Zion.
