You will learn about the river’s wildlife and the wetlands, encounter with some of the over 100 species of Birds, indigenous Flora and Fauna along the riverbanks and floating in the river, mangroves, fishes and other animals. Meet and learn about the friendly crocodiles up-close as the captain call them by their names and they swim up to the boat. He will pet them and feed them while you take pictures or videos.

Explore “lovers’ lane” and enjoy the peace and tranquility it offers as the captain turn off the engine and the boat slowly drift into this lane shaded by the mangroves on both sides, forming an arch over the river. The sweet sounds of different birds chippering are all you will hear as the gentle river breeze blows through the mangroves which keeps the area cool. Your tour comes to an end at the nursery where you will get to see and hold the baby crocs. 

YS is the shortest name place in Jamaica. YS Falls is seven-tiered waterfalls which cascades over several natural pools and swimming holes. It is one of Jamaica’s best nature-based attraction, offering visitors the opportunity to experience the beauty of the waterfalls surrounded by lush gardens and magnificent trees.

Your 1 1/2-2 hours picturesque journey from Montego Bay to the YS falls will be a day well spent on a property which looks like something from a movie set. Spend your day exploring the beautiful, well-manicured grounds, the falls surrounded by lots of Flora and Fauna, huge trees, cattle, horses and more. Climb the falls and enjoy the cool fresh water flowing over the limestone rocks. Have fun rope swinging from above into the inviting waters below, swim at the bottom of one of the seven layer, relax and enjoy some time in any of the freshwater pools or go ziplining over the falls (not included in price).

Your tour begins with a morning pickup from your Montego Bay hotel 10-15 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Leaving your hotel, your tour begins with a picturesque drive through the mountains and along the shoreline to the South Coast of Jamaica.

Black River Safari. You will get a 1-hour boat ride on the Black River to view the more than 100 species of animals, birds, mangroves, beautiful flora and fauna along the riverbanks and floating in the river. You will meet the friendly crocodiles who will swim up to the boat while the captain pet and feed then. Ride through the breathtaking “lovers’ lane” and be amazed at the beauty of the area, the quietness that gives a sense of peace and tranquility, the sweet sound of different birds chippering. Your tour ends in a crocodile nursery where you can see and hold the baby crocodiles. 

YS Falls. After checking in at the Ys Falls, you will receive your ticket for a short ride on the open aired bus or the jitney over to the falls and park. Arriving in the park, you will be able to climb the falls, use the freshwater pool, zipline (not included in cost of tour), swim and explore the beautiful grounds.
