The Rose Hall Great House is one of Jamaica’s famous and most impressive Jamaican Georgian style mansion and plantation great houses. Build in the late 17 century, it was refurbished in the 1960’s and is now a museum that showcases the slave history of the estate and the legend of the White Witch of Rose Hall.
A guided tour takes you on a journey back to the colonial days as your guide shares the history and heritage of the island and its colonial past. Learn about the lifestyle of the European bourgeoisie in the Caribbean in the Eighteenth Century. The tale of Annie Palmer, the famed White Witch of Rose Hall will surely interest you. View the beautiful tropical garden as you make your way up to the mansion. See the panoramic view of Montego Bay’s coastline from the mansion’s windows, as you walk through the house viewing the beautiful interior and antique furniture.
Have a drink at the bar which was once the dungeon hosting the slaves (Drink not included). Visit the 18th Century graveyard and see Annie’s tomb, shop for souvenirs in “Annie’s gift shop” and purchase your pictures from the photo shop (optional).

Your will be picked up at your hotel approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. It is best to wait in the hotel lobby or on the outside of the lobby by the door. Your driver/guide will have your information.
A 20-30-minute drive through the town of Montego Bay (depending on the location of your hotel) to the Rose Hall Main Road for your tour. Arriving at the Great House, you will be checked in, have a seat on a patio and wait for your tour guide. The tour guide will introduce herself and begin your tour in the walkway to the house. At the entrance of the house, photographers will approach you asking to take your picture Infront of the steps and you can purchase it at the end of the tour if you wish to do so.
The tour guide will then take you inside the house to continue the tour. You will visit all the rooms in the house before coming to the dungeon, which is now a bar, then to the back of the house for a visit to the grave where Annie is buried before ending your tour where it started.

We’ll pick you up at your Montego Bay hotel approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time for a 15-30-minute ride, (depending on the location of your hotel) to the Rose Hall Great House.
Arriving at the Rose Hall Great House, you will be checked in and fitted with an armband. You will then be seated and wait for your tour guide to introduce herself and to begin your tour.
After your 45-minute-1-hour tour is finished, you will board your vehicle for the return ride back to your hotel
