Private Blue Hole Tour from Montego Bay

The Blue Hole Waterfalls is one of Jamaica’s hidden gems. Located in the parish of St. Mary, close to the town of Ocho Rios, the Blue Hole has become popular with tourist as well as locals. Take a 1 1/2-2-hour drive from Montego Bay along the picturesque North Coast Highway for an exciting day of fun and excitement at the Blue Hole Falls.  

After checking in and receiving your life vest, you will follow your assigned tour guide through a trail leading to the entrance of the falls. The guide will walk you through the river, over rocks and into several mini pools where you can take dips, relax in jacuzzi like pools, lay on rocks with the cold, fresh river water cascading over them, while he takes your pictures for you.

As you come to the big falls, you have the option of jumping off into the inviting blue water below, climbing down the falls from a rope or opt to get off and walk to the bottom of the falls. There are platforms to jump from, a cave below the falls that you can explore, and rope swings for you to have fun. You may also swim and be entertained by other visitors having a great time.

A 1 1/2-2-hour morning drive along the picturesque North Coast Highway, through the town of Ocho Rios into the Parish of St. Mary, gets you to the Blue Hole. Upon arrival, you will be checked in, assigned a tour guide who will give you a life vest before leading you to the start of the river to begin your tour. You begin with a walk through the river, stopping at several mini pools and jacuzzies for dips as you go along before coming to the big waterfalls. You have the option of jumping off the falls or walking around it to the bottom and into the water.

You can take jumps off the platform, swim, do the rope swing and explore the cave at the foot of the falls. After approximately 2-hours, your tour guide will take you back to the parking lot to your driver for your trip back to your hotel.
